Work From Home Office & Tech Essentials for Coaches & Creators - Cora Lynn's Favourites
I've been obsessed with technology for as long as I can remember. Every new gadget that comes out, I HAVE to try it. (Anyone else?)
So I thought, why not share with you some of my favourite home office & tech finds that either improve my productivity, increase the quality of our courses and products or help me keep my office space fresh and clean?
Some of the links below are affiliate links
1. Aesthetic Desk Mat
Before I got this cork desk mat, I used to feel like everything on my desk was floating in the ether. This cork desk mat is inexpensive and extremely versatile, and it grounds your workstation. I went with cork for a cozier feel & have since decorated it with motivational quotes and essential reminders.
These desk mats come in various colours and styles, allowing you to personalize your office space on a budget.

2. Monitor Riser / Stand with Charging Station and USB / Micro USB Ports
If we're going to sit or walk at our desks, we need to be comfortable. This monitor stand is the perfect way to elevate your screen and workspace. This desk riser is a no-brainer with a magnetic charging spot for your phone, pen holder, additional USB ports for all your extra gadgets and even a micro USB slot for those of you shooting content on traditional cameras.
I love this because it allows me to charge my phone while I'm working and acts as a cute space to add decor, such as crystals, sage, or any small items that make you feel cozy.

3. Elgato Stream Deck
The Elgato stream deck saves me so much time. It's essentially a visual keyboard extension that you can program with different quick commands or programs you use often.
Some of the things I have programmed on my Streamdeck include:
- Zoom
- Notion
- Emoji Keyboard
- Screenshot
- Links to our paid communities or programs
- Spotify or other music app
- Computer Volume
- Computer Brightness
- Loom recording
Is it necessary? No, absolutely not, but if you're looking for a cool item to splurge on that will save you time and enhance your workflow, I cannot recommend Stream Deck more.

4. Redragon K530 Pro Draconic 60% Wireless RGB Mechanical Keyboard
As creators, we type a lot, and having a good-quality keyboard that can stand the test of time is essential. If you're like me and you have ADHD, I find that having a sound stimulus when I type gives my brain just enough stimulus to make typing and creating more enjoyable.
This Redragon mechanical keyboard is compact, has excellent typing sound and can be programmed with different colours to match your brand, program launch or just how you're feeling.
What I love most about this keyboard is that it's wireless, which means if I'm working out of the office, I can take this bad boy with me and still type efficiently.

5. Adjustable Laptop Riser
This one is pretty self-explanatory. I've been running my business from an M2 Chip 13" MacBook Air for YEARS, and despite running multiple video editing programs, notebooks, browsers, etc., it's never failed me.
But looking down at a laptop all day long is NOT ideal (unless you like neck pain). I use this adjustable laptop riser to hold my laptop daily when working. It allows me to place it at the perfect height for me, aesthetically fits in with my space and is easy to keep clean.

6. Self Adhesive Slide Out Desk Storage / Drawer
I've been using a standing desk for the last four years, and the only downside is that they do not usually have desk storage.
Now, I like to keep my desk as clean and uncluttered as possible (it helps with ADHD), and I found these stick-on sliding drawers to help me do just that. I use them for Post-it notes, pens, paper clips, essential oils, extra cables, and more.
You can add these to your desk, or they also work great on a bookshelf, etc., to add more storage.

7. Logitech G703 Gaming Mouse
I'm a PlayStation gamer, not a PC gamer, but having a gaming mouse to use in my business has been game-changing. I love this specific mouse because it has mouse scroll speed controls so you can change control speed depending on what you're working on, and it has multiple buttons right by the thumb that you can pre-program to do specific things. I have mine step up to take screenshots and copy all text.
It's wireless and has RGB colour capabilities for a more aesthetic feel. I've been using this mouse for five years with zero issues, and when this one finally dies, I will be getting another one.

8. Mildliner Double Ended Highlighters and Fine Point Markers
Despite loving all things tech, I'm also very much a pen-and-paper human. Each day, I take a moment to write out my to-do list, create my celebration lists, and document everything I'm doing in the business. I love using these dual highlighters/markers to add a little pop to my pages and highlight higher-priority tasks.
For my bullet journal community - I have a business bullet journal where I track daily and weekly tasks, sales goals, and more. If you want to see how I bullet-journal for my business, let me know in the comments below, and I'll do a post! These highlighters work PERFECT for bullet journaling, and the plethora of colours makes it easy to track multiple things.

These are just a few of my home office and work-from-home favourites, and you certainly don't need all of them, but a few strategic investments can make a world of difference while you're building out your business.
